Payment: 50% net royalties from all channels, to be paid quarterly
Contract: 2 years exclusive, nonrenewable (current authors already published with us may request our standard renewable contract)
There’s nothing quite as magical as falling in love in the summertime. Maybe it’s the way the heat shimmers off oiled muscles, or all that tanned skin exposed by barely-there Speedos and short shorts. Or the feel of a warm T-shirt stretched tightly across firm abs.
The days seem to last forever and the nights are twice as long. Whether the summer is a time for passions that have simmered all winter long to finally boil over, or a chance to find new love on vacation, we want to hear about it!
We are looking for short, sexy M/M romance and erotic romance stories for our new Summer Lovin’ series. These stories must be about men who find love and lust all summer long, whether it’s at the beach or at the pool, at a cookout or at the park, on vacation or working at an amusement park, wherever two guys connect in the heat of the summer. From sweet harmless flirting to fulfilling hot sex, show us just how hot the summer can get!
Like our popular Men at Work series, the ebooks will all share a similar cover and be released during the summer months of 2016, starting in June. They will NOT be released as an anthology, and there is no upfront payment; authors will be paid quarterly on actual sales earned. If you haven’t published with us before, feel free to request a sample contract prior to submission.

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES:
- Stories must be between 5,000 and 11,900 words
- Stories must contain a romance -- any heat level, from sweet to erotic
- Romantic pairing must be MM or MMM ONLY
- Stories must involve men finding love during the summer
- Stories may be any subgenre (contemporary, historical, western, paranormal, etc)
- Stories must have a HEA or HFN ending
- Adult stories only (no YA)
HOW TO SUBMIT:
Send a blurb and the full manuscript to submissions@jms-books.com with "Summer Lovin" and the title of your story in the subject line. Include any author credentials you may have.
