When your life's on the line, who has your back? For policemen, FBI agents, detectives, and firemen, etc., there is no one they trust more than their buddy, their partner, the one person on whom they depend. What happens when that partnership deepens into something more? Show us -- take it beyond the mean streets and flashing lights, into the bedroom or the darkened alleyway. Animals can be a great judge of character, and sometimes they know before we do whether or not someone is perfect for us. Whether he’s fighting for his country, arresting criminals, putting out fires, or transporting the sick to the hospital, there’s nothing sexier than a man in uniform. But what happens when one of these heroes is hurt in the line of duty? Who does he turn to for solace? Who comforts him?

Maybe he’s a soldier returning home after a prolonged deployment overseas and falls for the therapist assigned to help him deal with his PTSD. Or he’s a cop who works the streets of New York with his best buddy, and it takes a bullet’s near miss to put their relationship into perspective. Or he’s a fireman who rushes into a burning building without thinking of himself only to save the man of his dreams.

We are looking for sweet and sexy romance and erotic romance stories for our new Hurt Heroes series. These tales must be about heroic men who put their lives on the line every day -- soldiers, policemen, firemen, rescue workers, EMTs -- who find love when they’re wounded while protecting others. From harmless, sweet flirting to fulfilling hot sex, these stories must bring together two men who meet when one is hurt or injured and end happily. These stories will not be released as an anthology, but rather as individual e-books. Each will have a unique cover with a similar theme that will tie them together. Our goal is to begin releasing them as soon as quality submissions begin coming in. There is no upfront payment; authors will be paid quarterly on actual sales earned. If you haven’t published with us before, feel free to request a sample contract prior to submission.

The days seem to last forever and the nights are twice as long. Whether the summer is a time for passions that have simmered all winter long to finally boil over, or a chance to find new love on vacation, we want to hear about it!

We are looking for short, sexy M/M romance and erotic romance stories for our new Summer Lovin’ series. These stories must be about men who find love and lust all summer long, whether it’s at the beach or at the pool, at a cookout or at the park, on vacation or working at an amusement park, wherever two guys connect in the heat of the summer. From sweet harmless flirting to fulfilling hot sex, show us just how hot the summer can get!

Like our popular Men at Work series, the ebooks will all share a similar cover and be released during the summer months of 2016, starting in June. They will NOT be released as an anthology, and there is no upfront payment; authors will be paid quarterly on actual sales earned. If you haven’t published with us before, feel free to request a sample contract prior to submission.

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES:

• Stories must be between 5,000 and 11,900 words
• Stories must contain a romance -- any heat level, from sweet to erotic
• Romantic pairing must be MM or MMM ONLY
• Stories must involve men finding love during the summer
• Stories may be any subgenre (contemporary, historical, western, paranormal, etc)
• Stories must have a HEA or HFN ending
• Adult stories only (no YA)

All stories submitted must adhere to the general guidelines found on our website. We do not consider multiple or simultaneous submissions. Reprints will be considered only if the author holds exclusive rights to republish.
